Sending or receiving files via the FTP site:
We offer file transfer capabilities for larger files via our FTP site. Simply follow the steps below.
Compress your files: (for uploading)
Use "Stuffit" or the built-in "archive" for Mac OSX files.
Use "WINZIP" or "Stuffit" for Windows files.
**IT IS CRITICAL THAT YOU STAY ON THE PLATFORM THE FILES ORIGINATED. (MAC or PC)**
Click on the "FTP SITE LOGIN" in the side menu on this page.
In the "Secure Login" area: enter your username and password. (Don't have a username and password? Contact us).
*If you prefer using your own FTP software like Fetch, use the host name: "cgtfiletransfer.dynalias.com".
>>UPLOADING: Within the FTP server's user interface, click on "Upload file(s)". At the prompt, browse for the file(s) and navigate to your compressed file(s) on your hard drive. Then click on the "Begin Upload" button and wait for the next screen indicating the progress and successful upload. (Please be patient, a 100mb file may take up to 15 minutes). Please send us an email with all the specifications and your file(s) name to process your file accordingly.
>>DOWNLOADING: Find the file name you need in files list. Look for the arrow pointing down, just to the right
of the filename and click on it. At the prompt choose "Save to Disk" on a PC. For a Mac, it will usually download
straight to your desktop.
